I was crossing Broadway At 4th The words on top of the Street sign: "NOHO HISTORIC DISTRICT." NoHo? NoHo? We all know about trendy SoHo, But there's no NoHo! Oye, mijo, no me 'jo'! No existe NoHo! No NoHo, ya know, It's called Greenwich Village If you must go.
The song "Mickey" Came on 'PLJ During an '80's Weekend. Ah, the Cheerleader Song. You know, When I was younger, I always had wanted To date a cheerleader. Or, when I was at Miami Palmetto Senior High, One of these dancers Called Chatonettes. Whatever. But, I was denied this wish. Hope those of you responsible Will pay for this someday. Ramon Matos is a popular regular down at the café, where we count on him to open his time at the mike by asking: "Hello Cornelia, how the hell are ya?" |
