MARGUERITTE

PENSAMIENTOS / THOUGHTS

do not come to me with ceremonial axe;
imitating my voice;
telling me we are married;
why at night, like a bat;
(when I am vulnerable)
I am tired;
the mirror is tired;
the face it reflects, scowls;
I am not Baudelaire
Proust or
Dickinson
I have been waiting in the wings for decades;
somebody, please, take me to the sky;
the mirror is laughing.
