Blue dogs make no plans for the weekend. Their dog biscuits are buried under a pile of dead leaves and filled with ants. They're blue because their owners are blue, so blue that they won't walk them at all. They just feed them dog biscuits all day. Make them fat and lazy and blue like them.
Luis first book of poetry, Raw Materials, was published by Pygmy Forest Press in 2004. My poetry in Spanish & English has appeared online and in print. He lives and works in Los Angeles County, CA
