Along
Titanium Wires My Thoughts Fly,
Pushing your clouds out over the bay
Undulated by waves with female names,
Your long island frenzied by gales.
Last night you were troubled
And unwell among Persians
As I discharged set free released
From every point of the compass
My desire put into words in dialects
Even an emotional technician couldn’t explain.
Our sin was at the outset not coupling
But our current burden is assuming a bad end
To a storyline that is just now barely begun
And yet if your lips were on my neck, love,
None of this would be blocking us
You whisper in the present tense, I love you
And I say, honey, that’s the voice I love
Go back to sleep and dream, my beauty
My sweetheart blue-eyed darling, and when
We sleep together we’ll pleasure each other,
Yes, entwined legs, tangled hair
I’ll call you later,
You’d better, you tease,
Your soft lips trembling
I love you, I swear
I love you & always will.
